The 2025 Rotax Max Challenge World Cup enters the second day of practice, with night running underway as Taiwanese drivers prepare actively for qualifying.
2025 ROTAX Max Challenge 世界盃在巴林國際卡丁車賽道進入第二天賽前練習,主辦單位特別加入夜間練習時段,讓各組分組練習在不同氣溫與抓地力條件下進行。台灣代表隊八位選手的共同目標,是利用這一天從早到晚的跑動,找出最合適的車輛設定與胎壓,為接下來的測時排位賽做好準備,爭取在分組預賽中更理想的起跑位置。
The 2025 Rotax Max Challenge World Cup moved into the second day of practice at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit, with the organisers adding night sessions so that each split practice could run in different temperatures and grip conditions. The shared goal for the eight Taiwanese entrants was to use a full day of running, from morning to night, to find the most suitable setup and tyre pressures, in order to be ready for the upcoming qualifying sessions and to fight for better starting positions in the group heats.

在 Micro Max 與 Mini Max 組別,兩位台灣小將持續透過分組練習累積世界舞台的實戰經驗。
In the Micro Max and Mini Max categories, the two young Taiwanese drivers continued to build real race experience on the world stage through their split practice sessions.
Micro Max 組的黃言暢,第一天在分組練習中做出 1 分 02 秒 761,排名第 29 位;第二天進步到 1 分 02 秒 693,在同一組別來到第 28 位。首次參加世界盃的他,在高 G 值與國際賽事氛圍之下難免有些緊張,此行的主軸放在熟悉賽道、累積圈數,並從各國頂尖選手的走線與處理彎道方式中學習。
In Micro Max, Huang Yen-Chang set a 1:02.761 in his day-one practice group to place 29th, then improved to a 1:02.693 on day two to move up to 28th in the same group. As this is his first World Cup appearance, the high G-forces and international atmosphere naturally made him a bit nervous, and his main focus on this trip is to get familiar with the circuit, accumulate laps, and learn from the lines and cornering techniques of top drivers from other countries.
Mini Max 組的周宸毅,首日繳出 59 秒 041,在分組練習中排名第 8 位,展現不錯的起步速度;第二天成績為 59 秒 093,落在組內第 18 位。雖然名次有所變動,但團隊刻意利用每一節分組練習嘗試不同的設定與胎壓搭配,目標是在稍後登場的測時排位賽中,做出具代表性的單圈。
In Mini Max, Chou Chen-Yi recorded a 59.041 on day one to rank 8th in his practice group, showing good initial speed; on day two he set a 59.093 and ended 18th in the group. Although the position changed, the team deliberately used every split session to try different setup and tyre-pressure combinations, with the aim of producing a representative lap once qualifying gets underway.

Junior Max 組別的曾承康,延續在巴林先前賽事的好表現。第一天他做出 54 秒 550,在分組練習中排名第 3 位;第二天成績為 54 秒 845,暫居組內第 9 位。第二天的重點,是在不同調校與路面狀態下,確認自己都能穩定做出接近極限的單圈。曾承康日前於 RMC 巴林站拿下 Junior 組冠軍,這次世界盃則以收集充足的場上數據為優先,希望在接下來的測時排位賽中,把對賽道的熟悉度轉化為實際成績。
In the Junior Max class, Tseng Eason continued the strong form he has shown at previous events in Bahrain. On day one he produced a 54.550 to rank 3rd in his practice group; on day two he recorded a 54.845 and currently sits 9th in the group. The focus on the second day was to make sure he could consistently deliver laps close to the limit under different setup choices and track conditions. Having recently taken the Junior class win at the RMC Bahrain round, Tseng is prioritising gathering enough on-track data at this World Cup, hoping to turn his familiarity with the circuit into concrete results in the upcoming qualifying sessions.

在 Senior Max 組別,佐佐木芳音是第二天表現最突出的台灣選手之一。第一天他以 53 秒 871,在分組練習中排在第 7 位;第二天將成績提升到 53 秒 647,名次大幅躍升至組內第 2 位,確實在前段陣容中站穩腳步。隨著賽道抓地力逐漸穩定,他與團隊已在單圈速度上建立良好基礎,接下來的目標就是在測時排位賽中,完整地做出一圈乾淨、無失誤的成績。
In the Senior Max category, Sasaki Yoshito was one of Taiwan’s standout performers on day two. On day one he posted a 53.871 to place 7th in his practice group; on day two he improved to a 53.647 and climbed to 2nd within the group, firmly establishing himself in the leading pack. As grip levels on the circuit have gradually stabilised, he and his team have built up a solid base in terms of single-lap speed, and the next goal is to produce a clean, error-free lap in qualifying.

DD2 Senior:三位選手持續嘗試不同調校方向

DD2 Senior 組別的三位台灣選手,同樣在第二天透過分組練習持續尋找調校方向。
In the DD2 Senior category, the three Taiwanese drivers likewise used the second day of split practice to keep searching for the right setup direction.
洪聖亞第一天做出 53 秒 348,在分組練習中排名第 15 位;第二天將成績推進到 53 秒 197,目前在當節練習中暫居第 24 位。整體圈速更為接近的情況下,每一點調整都需要透過實際跑動來驗證。
On day one, Hong Shengya recorded a 53.348 to rank 15th in his practice group; on day two he improved to a 53.197 and is currently 24th in that session. With overall lap times in the group becoming closer together, every small adjustment has to be verified through running on track.
高杰第一天以 53 秒 254,在組內拿下第 8 位;第二天成績提升到 53 秒 168,暫居分組第 10 位,依舊維持在該組前段位置。透過連續兩天的練習,他與團隊也累積了更多關於此賽道與 DD2 車款的調校資料。
On day one, Kao Jie set a 53.254 to take 8th place in his group; on day two he improved to a 53.168 and currently sits 10th in the split, still holding a position in the front part of the group. Through two consecutive days of practice, he and his team have also accumulated more setup data for this circuit and the DD2 chassis.
傅昱書首日成績為 54.300,在組內排在 P29,第二天進步到 53.462、來到當節練習的 P27。這位DDM台灣年度冠軍此次世界賽參戰 DD2 Senior 組別,成績表現以DDM組別的年紀來說已跑出相當不錯的圈速,並把重點放在藉由每一節練習穩定累積實際賽道熟悉度與調校經驗。
Fu Yu-Shu’s day-one time was 54.300, placing him P29 in his group, and on day two he improved to a 53.462 to move up to P27 in that session. As the DDM Taiwan season champion, he is contesting the DD2 Senior class at this world event; for a driver of DDM age level, his lap times are already quite good, and he is focusing on steadily building real circuit familiarity and setup experience through each practice run.

E20 Master 電車組方面,邱奕憲第一天做出 57.838,在分組練習中暫居 P12,第二天將成績提升到 56.420,目前在當節練習排在 P15。邱奕憲在賽前就出現腸胃不適,整體狀態並不在最佳,加上世界賽強度極高,暫時還沒有做出自己滿意的成績。不過他仍選擇站上賽道,透過每一節練習穩定累積實際數據,期望在後續階段一步一步往前推進。
In the E20 Master electric class, Chiu Yi-Hsien set a 57.838 on day one to sit P12 in his practice group, then improved to a 56.420 on day two and is currently P15 in that session. He was already suffering from stomach discomfort before the event, so his overall condition has not been at its best, and with the intensity of world-level competition he has not yet produced a lap he is satisfied with. Even so, he has chosen to stay out on track, using each practice session to steadily accumulate real data, hoping to move forward step by step in the later stages.

整體來說,第二天的分組練習,台灣代表隊的共同目標都是為接下來的測時排位賽作準備:透過白天與夜間不同條件的跑動,確認各種溫度與抓地力變化下的車輛反應,先把單圈速度與調校方向釐清,接下來才能在排位賽中全力拚出關鍵一圈。
Overall, the shared goal for Team Taiwan in the second day of split practice was to prepare for the upcoming qualifying sessions: by running in both daytime and night-time conditions, they were able to confirm how the karts behaved under different temperatures and grip levels, clarifying single-lap potential and setup direction first, so that they can then push for a crucial lap in qualifying.
依照賽程安排,今天早上(巴林當地時間)將進行選手們最後一節練習,下午則是測時排位賽與分組預賽正式登場,各組將依排位成績排出發車順位。主辦單位也將提供官方直播,台灣這邊預計同步更新並貼上轉播連結,讓國內車迷可以即時關注台灣選手在世界舞台上的表現。
According to the schedule, the drivers will complete their final practice session this morning (local time in Bahrain), before qualifying and the group heats officially begin in the afternoon, with starting positions in each group set according to the qualifying results. The organisers will also provide an official livestream, and the Taiwanese side plans to update and share the broadcast links so that fans back home can follow the performances of Taiwan’s drivers on the world stage in real time.
