The 2025 RMC World Finals heats intensify as Team Taiwan fights for places in the finals

2025 ROTAX Max Challenge 世界盃在巴林進入第四天賽程,昨日重點落在各組預賽1 ,以及預賽2、預賽3 的積分爭奪。受到前一日計時系統異常影響,Mini、Senior、DD2 等組別的預賽 1 延至 Day4 舉行,整體節奏被打亂,但台灣代表隊仍在多場分組預賽的激戰中,完成所有預賽程序,並確定預決賽的起跑位置,朝決賽席位邁進。

The 2025 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain moved into its fourth day, with the focus on Heat 1, Heat 2, and Heat 3 in each class and the battle for points. Due to timing issues on the previous day, Heat 1 for the Mini, Senior, and DD2 classes was postponed to Day 4, disrupting the overall rhythm. Despite this, Team Taiwan still completed all their group heats in fierce racing and secured their starting positions for the pre-final, moving one step closer to the finals.

Micro Max 的黃言暢在第二場預賽從 P36 出發,最後以 P33 完賽,整體表現偏保守,教練坦言對表現不甚滿意,希望預決賽能更積極往前爭取位置。最終預賽積分 11 分,預賽總排名 33,預決賽將從 P33 起跑。

In Micro Max, Huang Yen-Chang started the second heat from P36 and finished in P33. His overall performance was rather conservative, and his coach openly expressed dissatisfaction with the result, hoping he can be more aggressive in fighting for positions in the pre-final. He ends the heats with 11 points, ranked 33rd overall, and will start the pre-final from P33.

Mini Max 的周宸毅在延後舉行的預賽1 從 P9 出發,完賽 P13;預賽2 由 P10 起跑衝上 P9,與第一名差距 2.906 秒,是三場預賽中表現最好的一戰;預賽3 再從 P10 起跑,完賽 P15。三場預賽中,雖然在車陣攻防裡偶有沒能守住位置的情況,但仍穩定累積積分。周宸毅最終預賽總排名 22(74 分),預決賽 B組 P11 起跑。

In Mini Max, Chou Chen-Yi started the rescheduled Heat 1 from P9 and finished in P13. In Heat 2, he started from P10 and climbed to P9, finishing 2.906 seconds behind the winner, his best performance across the three heats. In Heat 3, he again started from P10 and finished in P15. Although he occasionally failed to hold his position in the pack battles, he steadily collected points. Chou ends the heats 22nd overall with 74 points and will start the pre-final from B group, P11.

Junior Max 的曾承康在預賽2 由 P21 出發,一度過關斬將來到P13的位置,但後段因前保桿潰縮加上賽後判罰,最終以 P32 完賽;預賽3 從 P22 起跑追回至 P10,整體節奏明顯好轉。預賽結算總排名為 36(57 分),預決賽將由 B組 P18 起跑。

In Junior Max, Tseng Eason started Heat 2 from P21 and at one stage fought his way up to P13, but a collapsed front bumper and a subsequent post-race penalty left him classified in P32. In Heat 3 he started from P22 and recovered to finish P10, with a clearly improved overall rhythm. He ends the heats 36th in the standings with 57 points and will start the pre-final from B group, P18.

Senior Max 的佐佐木芳音因排位賽過磅重量不足遭 DQ,只能在三場預賽都從後段起跑。預賽1 從 P35 出發,P21 完賽;預賽2、預賽3 則分別由 P36 起跑,完賽 P32 與 P30,表現不理想。預賽總排名為 64(28 分),預決賽B組 P32 起跑。

In Senior Max, Sasaki Yoshito was disqualified in qualifying for failing to meet the minimum weight, forcing him to start all three heats from the back. In Heat 1, he started from P35 and finished P21; in Heats 2 and 3, he started from P36 and finished P32 and P30 respectively, with results that were far from ideal. He ends the heats 64th overall with 28 points and will start the pre-final from B group, P32.

DD2 Senior 在 Day4 跑滿三場預賽,台灣三位選手各有課題。

In DD2 Senior, all three heats were run on Day 4, and each Taiwanese driver faced different challenges.

洪聖亞在預賽1 自 P16 出發完賽 P30,預賽2 P16 起跑、完賽 P22,預賽3 由 P15 起跑帶回 P18,實際速度表現不差,但兩場遭受判罰影響名次,預賽總排名 47(41 分),預決賽 A 組 P24 起跑。

In Heat 1, Hong Shengya started from P16 and finished P30. In Heat 2, he again started from P16 and finished P22, and in Heat 3 he started P15 and finished P18. His actual pace was not bad, but penalties in two heats affected his finishing positions. He ends the heats 47th overall with 41 points and will start the pre-final from A group, P24.

高杰在預賽1 從 P20 出發完賽 P25,預賽2 則上演追擊戰,P20 起跑一路推進到 P7,預賽3 再從 P20 起跑帶回 P11,三場都有實際往前的進帳。最終預賽總排名 24(70 分),預決賽 B 組 P12 起跑,是台灣車手中位置較有機會往前突破的一位。

In Heat 1, Kao Jie started from P20 and finished P25. In Heat 2, he produced a strong recovery drive, starting from P20 and climbing all the way to P7. In Heat 3, he again started from P20 and finished in P11. He gained positions in all three heats. Kao ends the heats 24th overall with 70 points and will start the pre-final from B group, P12, giving him one of the better chances among the Taiwanese drivers to move forward.

傅昱書在預賽1 由 P35 出發,完賽後因保桿脫落遭判 DQ,失去該場積分;預賽2 自 P36 起跑,完賽 P21;預賽3 一樣從 P36 出發,完賽 P25。雖然每一場都得從隊尾追起,但兩場都順利完賽、名次也比起跑位置有所推進,算是在 DQ 之後逐步找回穩定。預賽總排名64(27 分),預決賽 B組 P32 起跑。

In Heat 1, Fu Yu-Shu started from P35 and finished the race, but was later disqualified due to a dropped front bumper and lost all the points from that heat. In Heat 2, he started P36 and finished P21; in Heat 3, he again started from P36 and finished P25. Although he had to charge from the back in every race, he finished both subsequent heats and improved on his starting positions, gradually regaining stability after the DQ. He ends the heats 64th overall with 27 points and will start the pre-final from B group, P32.

E20 Master:邱奕憲略有進步 持續穩定輸出

E20 Master 電車組在 Day4 只有預賽2賽事。邱奕憲在這場預賽中自第 15 位起跑,最終以第 12 名完賽,在身體狀況逐步好轉的情況下,成績也稍微向前推進。

In the E20 Master electric class, only Heat 2 was held on Day 4. In this race, Chiu Yi-Hsien started from P15 and finished P12. As his physical condition gradually improved, his result also moved slightly forward.

在預賽積分結算後,他以 46 分排在預賽總排名第 15 名,預決賽同樣以第 15 位起跑,將持續在有限的車數與距離中尋找往前的機會。

After the heats, he sits 15th overall with 46 points and will again start the pre-final from P15, continuing to look for opportunities to move up within a relatively small field and race distance.

依照大會規則,本次 RMC 世界盃各組將透過多場預賽累積積分,之後由預決賽決定最終能晉級決賽的名單與發車順位。預決賽採交叉分組,預計將從預賽總排名中取前 36 名作為晉級門檻,各組台灣選手的預決賽起跑位置如下:

According to event regulations, each class in this RMC World Finals uses multiple heats to accumulate points, and the pre-final will then determine who ultimately qualifies for the finals and from which grid position they start. The pre-final is run with cross-group grids, and the top 36 in the combined classification are expected to advance to the finals. The starting positions for the Taiwanese drivers in the pre-final are as follows:

雖然多數台灣選手在預賽階段的賽事並不輕鬆,但能一路撐過連續幾天的高強度賽程,本身就是一種韌性的體現。接下來的預決賽,將是他們通往決賽的最後關卡,不論是從隊尾發動追擊,還是在中段班穩紮穩打,每一位選手都將全力爭取進入決賽的機會。

Although most of the Taiwanese drivers have had a tough time throughout the heats, simply enduring several consecutive days of high-intensity racing is already a testament to their resilience. The upcoming pre-finals will be their final gateway to the finals. Whether they are charging from the back or fighting steadily from the midfield, every one of them will be giving everything to secure a place on the finals grid.
